What is the Invisalign Virtual Care function?_ Dr. Yang's Invisalign Journey_ Day74 (6)
Virtual Care designed by Align technology is an extremely handy function during the global pandemic of COVID-19, for patients live far away, or for people require lots of traveling due to work.
Steps:
1. Your dentist will send you an invitation through email.
2. Accept the invitation by downloading the My Invisalign from app stores.
3. Register for the My Invisalign app, if you haven't done so. (Instruct of how to use My Invisalign app is in my other video. "How to use My Invisalign app? __Dr. Yang's Invisalign Journey_ Day 48 (4)" https://youtu.be/iVa_C0OZPuw)
4. Open the retractor.
5. Tap on "My Care" tab at the bottom right corner of the My Invisalign app.
6. Follow the instructions through the app and take photos.
7. Tap "submit".
Your dentist will receive the photos uploaded and respond with email.
Tips:
1. There are 3 sets of photos. Only the first set is taken with aligners inside your mouth. The second and the third sets are taken without aligners.
2. For the 3rd set, please bite tightly together with your back teeth. It is important for dentists seeing your molar relations and your bite.
3. While taking lateral photos, right or left, please use your hand pull the wing of the retractor a bit that will allow more back teeth showing in the photos.
